Handmade Ceramic Thumb Mug, 8-10oz

These cute thumb mugs were thrown on the pottery wheel. Instead of a handle these ceramic pinch cups have a thumb indention and sits perfectly in your hand. They hold about 8-10 ounces.

These cups are ideal for cortados and cappuccinos. They're also great tumblers for wine, water or sipping on your favorite liquor. Keep in mind that pinch cups have no handle so super hot liquids may make the outside of the cup hot to the touch.

MATERIALS:
The clay used is a light tan stoneware. There are several glaze color options available (read details below)

-All glazes and clay used are lead free and food safe.
-Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe (although hand washing is always recommended for handmade pottery.)

GLAZE COLORS:
-BLUESTONE: A soft greyish blue with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish.
-DUSTY ROSE- a muted pink glaze with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish.
-GRAYSTONE: A warm brownish grey with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish.
-WHITE STONE: A warm off white with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish.
-AVOCADO: A warm green with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish.
-REDSTONE: A dark rust/terracotta red with a smooth matte finish that breaks white where thicker.
-LIGHT RUST: A dynamic glaze with hints of terracotta red and peachy/orange where applied thinner and white where applied thicker. This glaze has smooth matte finish but a lot of variation.
*Please note* Redstone and Light Rust are dynamic glazes that vary with thickness and application shows layering/dips/drips. Your mug may look different than the one pictured.
