These cute thumb mugs were thrown on the pottery wheel and are ideal for cappuccinos, lattes, or even wine, water or cool beverages (super hot liquids may made the outside of the cup hot to the touch).

Because of their small size (6-7oz), I call these cortado cups. They are perfect for a smaller espresso drink, glass of wine or sipping on your favorite liquor.

Made from a light tan stoneware.

The inside and top half of the outsides are glazed in WHITESTONE, a warm matte white with subtle speckling. The glaze was applied in a dipping/pouring technique, leaving some raw clay exposed and making each individual piece one of a kind and unique with a very organic feel.

The bottom half is glazed in one of 3 choices:
-WHITESTONE
-DARK BLUESTONE - a greyish navy blue with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish. (Overlapping areas show up as a lighter blue.)
-AVOCADO - A warm green with subtle speckling and a smooth matte finish. (overlapped areas show as a lighter green)

All glazes and clay used are lead free and food safe.

The bottom has been sanded down smooth to protect your countertops.

Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe (although hand washing is always recommended for handmade pottery.)
